OUR RUNNING PROJECTS

DRILLING BOREHOLES

This is FCO's major priority. We don't recommend hand-dug wells because they don't last longer, they dry up over dry seasons, they smell over time and their water color turns after long times of use.

BUILDING ORPHANAGES

A small shelter where people who already live within harsh circumstances try to take care of deprived orphans and compensate their crisis can be a solace to many.

REPAIRING BORE HOLES

It's a huge problem when the only bore hole in the village breaks down. Some times the bore holes remain faulty for more than 5 - 10 years although fixing it doesn't cost more than $100.

ENDORSING ORPHANS

An Orphan in Uganda is a psychological, medical and financial crisis. A little help can make a very big and substantial difference in their lives!

BUILDING SCHOOLS

Schools cannot provide a shelter from the heavy rains and strong winds of Uganda, we decided to replace them with schools, properly built using stone and cement.

LIVESTOCK PROJECT

Maybe there is no much fishing in the vast green lands of Uganda, but there are many families who can rely on livestock as their source of living.

IFTAR MEALS PROJECT

Muslims fast one whole month once a year during Ramadan. All start and end their fasting at the same time. Lack of food, resources and fasting long hours causes fatigue.

DISTRIBUTION OF MEAT

Many poor Muslims in Uganda eat meat rarely, so it is an opportunity for wealthy Muslims to provide their sacrifice there where people can eat and enjoy their Eid.

STUDENT TUITION FEES

Not all the Ugandan children are lucky enough to go to school and get their education. In some villages, only a few children have this privilege and this is due to the poverty and expensive tuition fees.

BUILDING HOUSES

In Ugandan villages, most people live in wooden cottages and huts, unprotected form rain and dangerous winds. No beds, no washrooms nor kitchens for a descent living.

BUILDING MOSQUES

There are lots of Muslims in Uganda, who all want to pray and learn the Quran but mosques are few, old and small.

SPECIAL NEEDS

We are empathetic about those with special needs who either walk on clutches, they either can't see or hear or talk, plus other unspeakable and unthinkable conditions.

MEDICAL CARE

f you or your child started coughing and sneezing today, you run immediately to the closest clinic and hospital to get medical attention

DEBTORS

Due to poverty, some Ugandans ask for debts to cover daily expenses as transport, education, accommodation and even feeding.

MEDICAL CENTRES

A local citizen has donated 1,000 square feet piece of land to Firdous Charity Organisation on behalf of the community, Christians and Muslims to build a small hospital.

HANDS OF HOPE

Visually impaired students have the right to learn too. Unfortunately, with unavoidable circumstances, they are restricted.

ENDOWMENTS

To assure the continuity of the charity projects in FCO, we are looking to two endowment projects; Livestock & Building Endowments...

STUDENT TICKETS

"The sky is the limit" But unfortunately in Uganda, the village fence or the wooden logs around the house are the limit.

HAJJ & UMRA

Giving the chance to those who did not have the chance to do the Pilgrims of Hajj and Umra before!

SPONSOR A TEACHER

Sponsoring a teacher is to vouch the teacher's salary, which is considered to be his main income and source of life sustenance.

DISTRIBUTING QURANS

Buy a book for a fellow Muslim, perhaps two or for a whole society as your possibility and generosity is.

KHAIR BIKES & MOTOR CYCLES

In order to reduce this time and effort wasted during the getting of water, we found that the Khair Bike is the best solution for carrying the heavy jerrycans for long distances.

AQIQAH PROJECT

Aqiqah is the Islamic tradition of the sacrifice of an animal on the occasion of a child's birth. It is considered Sunnah to slaughter a sheep or goat for the baby and distribute the meat to the poor.
